Invenergy Invested Over $500 Million in American Communities Last Year

  • Builds on billions already invested across companies’ 25-year history
  • Drives strong economies across the U.S.
  • Represents Invenergy’s long-term development approach
CHICAGO, IL (May 19, 2026): Invenergy, North America’s largest privately held independent power producer and energy infrastructure innovator, today announced it invested a total of $500 million in American communities last year, building on the billions of dollars invested since the company’s founding. The investments supported local jobs, public services, and landowners and drove domestic economic strength across America across the company’s multi-technology project portfolio.
“When we invest in energy infrastructure, we’re also creating shared value in the communities that make these projects possible through jobs, tax revenue, and support for critical services,” said Conor Branch, Invenergy’s Executive Vice President for Development. “Our 2025 total economic investment reflects our long-term commitment to driving American prosperity and powering communities forward, together.”
Invenergy’s 2025 investments highlight the company’s full lifecycle of energy infrastructure development approach, from siting, land acquisition, development, construction, and long-term operations. Key drivers of the company’s 2025 investment included land and lease payments to local landowners, project-generated wages and benefits, and state and local tax payments that supported schools, public safety and other essential services.
Invenergy’s development model prioritizes working alongside local stakeholders from the earliest planning stages to ensure we’re creating shared value in the places we live and work. The company focuses on delivering power solutions that work for customers and the community, building lasting economic value. In 2025, that long-term approach supported landowners, workers, schools, emergency services, and local governments in communities across the country.
